A large mixed multi-ethnic school in the United Kingdom is seeking a Teacher of Physical Education for a permanent, full-time position starting on 1 September 2026. The role involves delivering PE across key stages, leading extra-curricular activities, and contributing to the department's curriculum development. Ideal candidates should have experience in teaching PE and a strong commitment to safeguarding. Competitive pay on the Main Pay Scale with an Outer London Allowance is offered, alongside opportunities for professional development.

Lampton School is a large, mixed, multi‑ethnic 11‑18 school. Ofsted has judged the school as "Outstanding" in all categories for the years 2005, 2008, 2013 and 2024. We are the lead school for the London West Alliance and Teach West London, a teacher‑training partner of the University of Roehampton, and a member of the Hounslow Education Partnership. This partnership offers staff excellent opportunities for professional learning and career progression.
The department consists of seven full‑time staff and a dedicated basketball coach. It delivers a broad and balanced curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, offering a wide range of sports and physical activities:
In addition to core PE, the department offers BTEC Sport at Key Stage 4, as well as BTEC Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Facilities include a large sports hall, extensive playing fields, a gym and a studio.
The department runs an extensive extra‑curricular programme and competes in all borough leagues and national competitions. Basketball teams are highly successful, regularly competing in the England Basketball National Schools Competition at U12, U14 and U16 levels and frequently reaching London, regional and national finals.
