Overview

Teacher of Mathematics – John Whitgift Foundation, Croydon, Greater London

Salary: Generous package dependent on qualifications and experience. Start date: January 2026. Full-time, two-term position, with potential for a permanent appointment depending on departmental needs. Located on a 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon with excellent links to London, Surrey and the south coast.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Mathematics to boys aged 10-18.
  • Promote a collaborative learning culture to maintain high standards.
  • Motivate and enthuse young learners to achieve their best.
  • Plan and prepare lessons effectively.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and solve problems as they arise.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the School and support the pastoral system.
Qualifications and Skills
