Based in Leicester

An outstanding primary school in Leicester is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Primary Teacher to join its expert and supportive team on a long‑term basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children. You will work closely with a collaborative team of educators, with planning already prepared, allowing you to focus on high‑quality teaching and pupil development. The Role
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 1
  • Take on full teaching responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Hours: Monday to Friday (5 days per week). Start time: 8:15am. Finish: End of the school day.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a mainstream primary setting
  • Experience teaching KS1 (KS2 experience desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • An engaging, enthusiastic, and nurturing practitioner
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an advantage
