Codsall High is a comprehensive school for students in Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi‑rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and more than two hundred in its successful sixth form.
Codsall High is a good school where pupils behave and achieve well (see OFSTED report).
GCSE Design Technology is a popular choice at the school with more than two hundred students taking it as a GCSE option and more than thirty students taking it for A Level.
The Technology Department is fully staffed with dedicated teachers. Staff work together, support each other and go the extra mile to support their students. It is a great department to work in.
We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Design Technology teacher to join our school in September 2026 (or earlier).
The ability to teach GCSE Design Technology is essential. The opportunity to teach A Level Product Design is available to a suitably qualified teacher.
The post would suit a recently Qualified Teacher at the early stage of their career or an experienced Teacher who would like to join a successful school.
Excellent support will be provided within the Technology Department and from across the school to help you continue your development as a teacher.
