Job description

Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.

We have partnered with 1500 companies to deliver a new kind of learning that’s transforming today’s workforce.

Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI data and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn ROI for their employers using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In June 2022 we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co‑led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post‑money valuation of £1.7bn the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800 employees we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.

Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

The role

As a Talent Sourcer at Multiverse you will play a pivotal role in finding and attracting the exceptional people who power our mission. You’ll be joining a newly‑established sourcing team giving you the opportunity to help shape and establish sourcing best practices at Multiverse. You’ll work in close partnership with our Talent Partners across Sales Tech & Operations to define sourcing strategies and success metrics ensuring a highly targeted and outcome‑oriented approach to engaging talent.

Multiverse is at the forefront of AI and technology talent. We are focused on transforming how we work through embedding AI into our workflows and leveraging the full value of our tech stack across our workflows. You may or may not have this experience, and we’ll offer dedicated enablement on this. What you do need for success in this role is the learning agility and enthusiasm to pick up new tools and systems, including adopting AI technologies into your day‑to‑day.

What you’ll do
  • Market Intelligence: You’ll deep‑dive into talent trends and market intelligence, bringing insights into your partnerships with Talent Partners & Hiring Manager to help define ideal candidate profiles and sourcing strategies.
  • Sprint Planning: You’ll approach your work with an analytical mindset ensuring all sourcing sprints have relevant activity and success metrics to drive strong hiring outcomes. You’ll proactively course‑correct when things aren’t on track.
  • Sourcing and Screening: You’ll use our recruiting stack and varied sourcing techniques (Boolean, X‑Ray, candidate rediscovery, etc.) to build diverse, qualified and highly engaged pipelines.
  • Outreach & Engagement: You’ll craft messages that genuinely connect and resonate with diverse talent and continuously use data to iterate on messaging and improve engagement.
  • AI & Tech Adoption: You’ll be hands‑on learning how to leverage your tech stack, including using AI tools to supercharge candidate sourcing, analyse market trends and personalise candidate experiences, making every day more efficient.
  • Collaboration: You’ll lean in to working as part of a hiring squad, developing strong partnerships with the broader talent team.
  • Knowledge Sharing: You’ll be proactive in sharing evolving sourcing best practices and support enablement initiatives across the Talent team to improve how we find and engage talent at Multiverse.
About you
  • You’ll have 2‑3 years of experience in a dedicated Talent Sourcer role — or in a heavily sourcing‑focused agency or in‑house recruiter position. You’ll ideally have gained this within a fast‑paced high‑growth environment.
  • You are highly organised and data‑driven, able to manage multiple pipelines and pivot activity effectively based on evolving priorities and sprint metrics.
  • You have an established knowledge of sourcing techniques and technologies to find niche skill‑sets, always challenging yourself to meet leading indicators and success metrics on both evergreen and unique roles.
  • You have a systems mindset and can showcase how you’ve leveraged new technologies in your work to improve efficiency; you are eager to accelerate this through AI.
  • You’re a natural communicator able to craft messages that genuinely connect and engage diverse talent pools with the Multiverse mission and opportunity, making every interaction a positive experience.
  • This is initially a 6‑month FTC. You should ideally be immediately available or on short notice to start a new role.
  • You’ll join a team that is collaborative, high‑performing and passionate about making hiring a true competitive advantage for Multiverse.
  • You align closely with our values and can share examples of how you have demonstrated them.
