Our Opportunity

Pick Everard is passionate about creating a prosperous and sustainable future, taking a fresh perspective on the built environment. Our core values of professionalism, compassion, drive and positivity are at the heart of everything we do.

Talent Development Apprentice

Kick start your career with Pick Everard – we’re looking for a motivated Talent Development Apprentice to grow, learn, and make a real impact!

Join our People & Culture team as a Talent Development Apprentice and gain hands‑on experience supporting our business units across Pick Everard. You’ll proactively coordinate and assist with Talent Development initiatives, working closely with Business Partners, the Head of People Experience, and the Group People & Culture Director to deliver an effective and seamless service. You’ll also support day‑to‑day activities and assist with Talent Development queries, giving you a broad insight into the role while developing valuable skills.

You will be undertaking the Level 3 Learning and Development Practitioner Apprenticeship, designed to develop the professional skills required of Learning & Development practitioners across private, public, and third‑sector organisations. The apprenticeship typically lasts 18–24 months and is delivered primarily in the workplace with online learning. You will have dedicated time within working hours to complete your apprenticeship, with one day per week focused on the programme (alongside a hybrid working pattern of three days in the office and two days at home). You will gain practical experience by applying what you learn directly in your role, supporting Talent Development activities, and contributing to real projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to ensure training needs are met.
  • Be a key point of contact within the Talent Development team.
  • Manage the e‑learning platform, including onboarding, leavers, reporting line changes, content updates, audits, and completion reports, especially for mandatory courses.
  • Ensure training content remains compliant and is regularly reviewed.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials and resources for internal learning sessions.
  • Support data entry and record maintenance, including tracking individual learning and programmes such as RISE.
  • Coordinate delegate bookings, venues, and facilitator arrangements.
  • Support the collection of training and skills data for workforce planning.
  • Manage the Talent Development inbox and ticketing tool.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider Business Partnering team on career development and learning initiatives.
  • Ensure learning events are organised efficiently and run smoothly.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with internal colleagues and external training providers.
About You
  • Strong Excel skills, including basic formulas, data entry, and formatting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your own skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • An organised approach with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Ideally working towards a CIPD qualification or able to demonstrate comparable experience (desirable).
  • Preferably, experience within professional services (desirable).
  • GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above (4 or above in the new grading system).
