Talent Acquisition Manager (9 month FTC)

Location: UK / IOM

Overview of the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager with a strong HR foundation to join our Talent Acquisition team in the UK / IOM. This role is ideal for an HR professional who has experience in talent acquisition and is looking to step into a more strategic leadership-focused role.

What you'll do

You will partner closely with HR colleagues and senior business leaders to bring a people‑focused relationship‑driven approach to talent acquisition. With your HR expertise you will help shape our recruitment strategy, lead a small team of recruiters and ensure our hiring practices align with our broader people agenda and organisational goals.

Strategic Delivery

Contribute to the Talent Acquisition leadership team helping define and deliver recruitment plans centred around Talent Mobility.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs, shape recruitment priorities and ensure alignment with broader HR and business strategies.

Talent Development

Set development objectives for your team, provide coaching and mentorship and support training needs – ensuring your team continues to grow capability and confidence.

Data‑Driven Performance

Use recruitment data and HR metrics to report on hiring progress, identify trends and improve decision‑making. Develop simple clear KPIs that support efficient and high‑quality recruitment delivery.

What you’ll bring

Strong HR professional with experience in talent acquisition, strong people‑management skills, excellent stakeholder partnership abilities and a broad understanding of HR principles.

Ability to adapt quickly, create plans for people change when required and demonstrate a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to change.

Hands‑on experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, experience working in a large or complex organisation, strong relationship‑building and influencing skills, and ability to work across countries to create and execute people change plans.
