Job description
Talent Acquisition Manager - Strategic Ocho Partnership - Belfast (Hybrid) 2-3 days in the office.

Salary: Competitive + benefits + equity (dependent on experience)

About the Company

Ocho has been appointed as an exclusive talent partner to a high-growth, venture-backed technology company based in Belfast. Following a recent $100m investment, the business is entering a significant scale phase, expanding teams and growing the Belfast team from 30-80 over the coming years.

This is not a traditional reactive recruitment environment. Ocho is working in close partnership with leadership to support long-term hiring strategy, workforce planning, and delivery across multiple critical roles.

The Role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager or Embedded recruiter, ideally with an HR background, to operate as a strategic hiring partner alongside Ocho. This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, understands the importance of candidate experience, and can balance pace with quality in a scale-up environment.

You will play a key role in shaping hiring processes, supporting multiple hires, and ensuring the organisation attracts and retains high-calibre talent during a period of rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic TA partner aligned with Ocho and senior leadership
  • Support multi-hire delivery across technical and product-led teams
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Leadership stakeholders
  • Influence and improve hiring processes, assessment methods, and candidate experience
  • Provide market insight, hiring data, and feedback to inform workforce planning
  • Ensure hiring aligns with wider people, culture, and growth objectives
  • Maintain high standards of communication, inclusivity, and professionalism
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within a scaling tech organisation
  • HR background or strong exposure to people and culture functions
  • Experience managing multiple hires and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of structured hiring processes and best practice
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and partner at senior level
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Why Join
  • Opportunity to work on a strategic, long-term partnership rather than transactional hiring
  • Close collaboration with Ocho as a trusted delivery partner
  • Exposure to senior leadership and high-impact hiring decisions
  • Involvement in building teams at a pivotal growth stage
  • Hybrid working model with modern Belfast city-centre offices
  • Strong culture built on trust, ownership, and collaboration
