Job Title: Systems Security Administrator

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Systems Security Administrator, you will be involved in multiple aspects of supporting the overall health and security of the server infrastructure within Insulet with the goal of reducing risk and ensuring stability. This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Systems Administration and under the guidance of the Enterprise Cyber Security team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patched in accordance with vulnerability management procedures

  • Assist with security root cause analysis for incidents related to servers.

  • Ensure servers and related infrastructure are configured to meet regulatory requirements

  • Document and implement secure configurations based on CIS benchmarks

  • Assist in keeping all user applications and endpoints operational, compliant, and secure.

  • Assist with policy changes for servers under the discretion of the Enterprise Cyber Security Team

  • Perform any additional duties deemed necessary by the Director of Enterprise Technology Operations or Senior Director of Enterprise Cyber Security

  • Complete after hours changes and maintenance as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience as a full-time system administrator that included building, configuring, patching, and troubleshooting servers

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and related technologies

  • Experience with VMware vSphere

  • Experience with patch management systems, such as Intune, SCCM, ManageEngine, or BigFix

  • A high level of interest in information security and a desire to learn

  • Knowledge of computer security, anti-virus, and vulnerabilities

  • Awareness of information security and IT risk management principles

  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO

  • Configuration experience with Exchange Online, Office 365, Sharepoint, OneDrive for Business, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Self motivated and stays current with new technology.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment in determining work and problem resolution priorities and approaches.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation software and procedures.

  • Experience managing Windows and Linux servers in a production data center environment.

  • Understanding of networking technologies and its impact on servers and service delivery.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.

  • Domestic and Global travel required – up to 20%
