About Our Client

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in the design, sizing and validation of HVAC and liquid‑cooling systems (including ΔT, ΔP, pipe sizing, valves, separators and pressurisation solutions).
  • Translate cooling requirements into new product concepts across valves, fittings, degassers, expansion vessels and related system components.
  • Customise solutions for specific data‑centre builds, producing BoMs, valve schedules, layouts and installation notes.
  • Monitor market trends, technologies and standards to inform long‑term product roadmap decisions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to Product Management and R&D, defining specifications and prioritising improvements.
  • Provide thought leadership, mentoring colleagues and representing the organisation within the industry.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate:

  • Degree‑qualified in Mechanical, Thermal or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years' hands‑on HVAC, thermal‑system or liquid‑cooling design experience (data‑centre background helpful but not essential).
  • Working understanding of cooling topologies, reliability requirements and industry guidelines (e.g., ASHRAE TC 9.9).
  • Experience in product design or R&D, with exposure to CAD, prototyping and testing.
  • Ideally familiar with fluid‑control products, BIM/AutoCAD, and basic CFD/thermal modelling.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, able to work cross‑functionally and take initiative in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Detail‑driven, structured and comfortable working both from drawings and on‑site.
