Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B-category).
• Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service.
• Able to perform light to moderate physical tasks (lifting crates, stairs, moving cages).

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly face for the Waitrose brand while on the road.
• Discuss substitutions or changes and arrange refunds if needed.
• Handle products with care and deliver them safely to customers.
• Explain that substituted items will not incur extra charges.
• Assist customers with groceries and build trust on deliveries.
• Familiarise yourself with daily delivery route.
• Perform a safety check on the van before departure.
• Support the wider CFC team with warehouse tasks when off the road.
