Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in the UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose products directly to customers’ doors. You will drive well-equipped vehicles, prioritise safety, and deliver a high standard of service in a dynamic, physically active role.

You’ll start in-store and then head on deliveries, communicating changes to orders and assisting customers with substitutions or refunds when needed. DBS checks may be required, with flexible working supported where possible.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Be able to perform physical tasks including lifting crates and moving items up stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries and goods to customers' homes in a safe, timely manner.
• Ensure vehicle and routes are road-safe and compliant with safety rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist in in-store tasks when not on deliveries and support the wider team.
