Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose & Partners in Crowborough. You will start in-store and then deliver orders to customers, upholding superior service and brand standards.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, strong customer service and time-management skills, plus the ability to lift and manoeuvre crates. Night premium applies for eligible hours.

Qualifications

Valid B-category UK licence with up to 6 points.
Strong customer service skills.
Good time management.
Able to lift crates and move cages.
Independent, self-motivated and adaptable.
IT literacy is required.

Responsibilities

Review daily delivery routes and plan the day.
Load and prepare the van for deliveries and deliver to customers.
Complete vehicle safety checks and comply with health and safety.
Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service on the road.
Assist customers and build rapport; support shop team when needed.
