A supportive care organization is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Female) in Aylesbury. This full-time role includes assisting three women with learning disabilities in a supportive living home. Responsibilities involve providing personal care and supporting their recreational activities, ensuring a safe and happy environment. Full training will be provided, and applicants must have a UK driving licence and flexibility for shift work. Salary: £12.71 - £13 per hour
Join our clients friendly team in the lovely location of Bedgrove, Aylesbury, and make a real difference every day. You will be supporting three ladies aged between 58 and 71 who live in a supported living home. All three have learning disabilities and need help with personal care and wheelchair assistance.
Your role will include supporting them with activities they love, from trips out, bingo, and theatre visits to walks, movies, and garden centre outings. No two days are ever the same! You will be creating special moments and building genuine connections while helping people live happy, safe, and independent lives. (This post is restricted to female applicants only, as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.)
This is a full-time role, 39 hours per week, with a mix of early and late shifts:
