As a Support Worker in Clydebank you’ll work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation and deliver practical and emotional

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally 1 year experience with vulnerable people and challenging behaviour.
• Commitment to care practice in line with SSSC code of practice and National Care Standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and respect independence.
• Flexible and able to work as a lone worker.
• Proficient in Microsoft or equivalent applications.
• Hold SVQ level 2 or above and willing to work towards SVQ 3.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Review, monitor and evaluate through case management to achieve person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation within required timeframes.
• Provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the person’s support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to enable occupancy conditions to be met.
