Job summary

Blue Triangle Limited in Paisley is seeking a Support Worker to join a team delivering safe, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. You will provide practical and emotional support to help individuals achieve their personal outcomes as part of their daily lives.

You should have a genuine passion for helping people, with ideally one year of experience with vulnerable groups, and be committed to high care standards.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally 1 year experience with vulnerable people.
• Commitment to care standards and policies (SSSC, National Care Standards).
• Ability to relate empathetically and work flexibly, including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Support, review, monitor and evaluate using the case management system for person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation per policies and occupancy agreements.
• Provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the person’s support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to the people we support to meet occupancy conditions.
