Job summary

A leading adult social care provider in the UK is seeking dedicated support workers in Tendring. Full time 35 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate

£12.50-£12.76 per hour

Role Overview

You’ll support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health. You’ll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You’ll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives. You’ll give high‑quality support tailored to people’s needs. You’ll do activities like cooking, art or listening to music, and get out for movie nights and food outings. You’ll provide personal care including support with continence needs, health and medication needs, handling personal possessions, finances and documents, shopping, and help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene. You’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.

Key Skills and Experience
Essential
  • Good general education
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
  • A commitment to undertake training and development
Desirable
  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Previous experience within social care setting
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT user
