You will assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to a diverse group of people. Ideal candidates should possess compassion, excellent communication skills, and flexibility for various shifts. The role includes 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays and ongoing training opportunities.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
The service currently supports 3 females and 3 males ages ranging from the 50s to early 70’s with mild to moderate learning disabilities, mobility and complex personal health and high care needs.
The people we support enjoy being supported with social and leisure activities, such as accessing the local community and wider areas including Barnsley football club. The people we support when supported at home enjoy arts and crafts, playing games and music.
Available contracts are part time hours. Days: Between 07:00-21:30.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
