Job summary

Agincare in Colsterworth (near Grantham) is seeking caring Support Workers to help individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and complex needs live as independently as possible at home and in the community.

We offer funded training, a pension scheme, and a refer-a-friend incentive. Full-time, part-time and bank roles are available to fit your schedule and commitments.

  • Encouraging independence and helping people participate in their communities.
  • Assisting with activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning and budgeting.

  • Engaging individuals to enhance their quality of life.
  • Supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches.
  • Recording and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.

We are looking for Support Worker for our Services in Colsterworth just 8 miles from Grantham

This is a unique service offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;

Encouraging – people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating - effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
