Job summary

Agincare is recruiting support workers to help 38 people across 7 bungalows near Devizes, Wiltshire. Roles include full-time and part-time positions, with bank shifts available. You’ll work in a family-run environment focused on person-centred outcomes and community living.

The role offers £13.20 per hour, funded training and career development, a company pension, and opportunities to refer friends. You’ll need at least 12 months right to work to apply.

• Encouraging – people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
• Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
• Communicating - effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods
• Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
• Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
• Recording - keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
• Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.

You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.

Where you’ll be working:

We support up to 38 people living across 7 bungalows in the heart of Wiltshire, just outside the market town of Devizes.

This is a unique service within Wiltshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
