Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person centred outcomes for people with complex support needs who rely on our services .

You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs .

Where you’ll be working:

This is a unique service within Wiltshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community .

This role involves supporting an individual who may present behaviours that can challenge, often linked to communication needs, learning disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions.The focus is on delivering person-centred, proactive support that promotes independence, safety, and emotional wellbeing.We are looking for experienced support workers to support individuals with complex behaviours, or a strong willingness to develop in this area. A calm, resilient, and patient approach, with the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication skills, including non-verbal and alternative communication methods and commitment to safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care.

Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting .

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording- keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
