Job summary

SIS Care in Stockport (Heaton Lodge area) is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a busy supported living service. You will support individuals with complex mental health needs in their daily lives and promote independence through person-centred care.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.45 plus benefits. DBS, pension and career progression are highlighted rewards for committed staff.

Qualifications

• Experience within Mental Health and supported living services is required.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.
• Level 2 NVQ is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Support Worker role:

SIS are currently looking to recruit experienced individuals who have experience working within a supported living service. As part of this role, you would be supporting individuals with complex mental health needs as well as providing support within their daily lives. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through person centred support.

About the service:

Heaton Lodge provides 19 rooms with shared facilities. There is a communal lounge and conservatory with 2 large kitchens, gardensto front of the house and gardens to rear of the house. Heaton is close to Manchester and Stockport. There is also a bus stop a few houses down from the service. Heaton Chapel train station is only an 8minute walk from Heaton Lodge service.
