Job summary

SIS are recruiting a Support Worker to join Glenarie House, a supported living service in Liverpool, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support individuals with complex mental health needs and help with daily living activities, aiming to improve quality of life through person-centered care.

The role values passion, experience in mental health, and reliability. Driving is optional, NVQ Level 2 is desirable. We offer Enhanced DBS, a pension, career progression, and staff recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with mental health users.
• Experience in a supported living service.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.

Support Worker role

As part of this role, you would be supporting individuals with complex mental health needs as well as providing support within their daily lives. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through person centred support.

About the service

Glenarie house is a period building set in beautiful park surroundings. This mixed sex service comprises of 16 rooms with shared facilities set over 3 floors and lift access. The service supports a mixed age range of up to 16 people with complex mental health needs. There are 24-hour staffing with waking nights.
