Job summary

SIS Care in Stockport (Heaton Lodge area) is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a busy supported living service. You will support individuals with complex mental health needs in their daily lives and promote independence through person-centred care.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.45 plus benefits. DBS, pension and career progression are highlighted rewards for committed staff.

Qualifications

• Experience within Mental Health and supported living services is required.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.
• Level 2 NVQ is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with complex mental health needs in daily living.
• Provide person-centred support to enhance quality of life.
• Work within a supported living service to enable independence.
