A not-for-profit charity is looking for a Support Worker in Sarisbury Green to assist a lady with autism in her daily life. Responsibilities include providing personal care and support with household chores. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will use a home vehicle. The role will involve supporting a lady in her 30s with autism in her own home. She has 2:1 support at all times and needs full support with all aspects of her daily life. She is blind, therefore needs guidance with household chores and personal care. This will involve bathing and toilet support. She can display behaviours of distress but really enjoys sensory experiences and having music sessions. She enjoys going out shopping and walks to Costa for tea and cake.
Shift patterns will vary week on week - Long days 7am - 10pm/ Sleep-Ins/ Alternate weekends / bank holidays
