Overview

Are you a compassionate and committed Support Worker with a genuine desire to make a difference? We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team in Mansfield, providing person-centred support to adults with mental health conditions, autism, and learning disabilities in a supported living setting.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in enabling service users to lead fulfilling, independent lives in a safe and supportive environment. You will work closely with individuals to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored support that promotes dignity, well-being, and inclusion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting service users with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
  • Assisting with safe medication administration and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing emotional support and building positive, trusting relationships
  • Promoting independence and helping individuals access the community and engage in meaningful activities
  • Following individual support plans and working collaboratively with health and social care professionals
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 months’ experience working with adults with mental health needs and/or learning disabilities
  • Experience supporting individuals with dysphagia
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach
  • Flexibility to work long days, late shifts, and sleep-ins as required
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
