Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Support Worker in Manchester to assist young individuals aged 16-25 with Autism and ADHD in developing independent living skills. This temporary role offers £13.45 per hour and requires experience in supporting young people, crisis management skills, and an understanding of Autism and ADHD. A driver's license and an Enhanced DBS are required. The position starts as soon as possible and runs until January 2026.

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work within one of their supported housing services in Manchester, supporting young people aged 16 - 25 with Autism and ADHD to live independently. This is a temporary role, based in Manchester, starting as soon as possible to run until January 2026.

The role - Support Worker
  • As a Support Worker, you will work closely with residents and partner agencies to support the young people to understand their condition, develop independent living skills and meaningful relationships, and learn to manage a tenancy.
  • Accommodation provides first steps to independence which offers individuals the opportunity to develop basic daily living skills.
  • Provide outreach to individuals who have moved on and are living in independent accommodation.
  • Support young people to engage in meaningful activities such as cooking, employability, budgeting, art therapy and healthy living in the communal community hub.
  • Liaising with external agencies around the needs of young people to ensure successful move on and sustainment.
  • Accurate record keeping and recording.
