Job summary

Avenues Group in Liss is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities lead fuller lives. This full-time role offers 39 hours per week and a competitive salary of £25,845 per year pro rata.

No prior social care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You will join a friendly, people-first team that values everyday interactions, community involvement, and personal care support.

Weekend work is required and Makaton is desirable.

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in Liss, working with male and female adults who have learning disabilities, Down's syndrome, and varying levels of support needs from low to high. The individuals we support require assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, medication, and mobility. They take part in a diverse range of activities, such as monthly discos, arts and crafts, shopping trips, dining out, cinema and bowling visits, karaoke, day trips (including to London), and holidays.
