Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group is seeking a Support Worker in Liss to help adults with learning disabilities lead fuller lives. You will assist with daily living, facilitate community activities, and support family connections, with paid training provided.

This full-time role (39 hours per week) requires weekend availability. Benefits include training, DBS, and pension choices, with a salary of £25,845 per year pro rata.

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in Liss, working with male and female adults who have learning disabilities, Down's syndrome, and varying levels of support needs from low to high. The individuals we support require assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, medication, and mobility. They take part in a diverse range of activities, such as monthly discos, arts and crafts, shopping trips, dining out, cinema and bowling visits, karaoke, day trips (including to London), and holidays.
