Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Support Worker to join a small team delivering person-centred care for four male adults with disabilities in a wheelchair-accessible supported living environment. You will work across day and night shifts across a 7-day week, helping with daily living, activities and community engagement.

Drivers preferred, with the potential for outreach work; full DBS paid; flexible working and 28 days pro rata leave, plus training and pension benefits

• Full time available - completing day and night shifts across 7 day week

We are looking for Support Workers, working in a team of 9 in Bury St Edmunds. You will be supporting 4 male adults with disabilities from acquired brain injuries in a supported living environment. All the individuals are also wheelchair users.

They enjoy themed evenings, going to the cinema, out for lunch and dinner, visiting day services, arts and crafts, movie nights and watching quiz shows!

Ideally the successful applicant would hold a UK driving license due to an individual having their own vehicle. It would also be beneficial if applicants had business insurance to allow the opportunity to do some outreach work, however these are not essential requirements.
