Salary: £12.75 per hour

Service Type: Adult Complex Care Service

Speciality: Mental Health, Complex needs, Autism, and learning Disability

About the service

We are recruiting for Support Workers to join our brand new service in Horley. This service supports 16 individuals, working with various complex needs, autism and learning disabilities. The service consists of a block of flats, providing independent living for people that need support, and 2 townhouses ensuring a safe environment for all.

Support may include: personal care, positive encouragement, emotional support, working with challenging behaviours, social/ mental health support and help in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care as required.
  • Offer positive encouragement and emotional support.
  • Work with individuals who may display challenging behaviours.
  • Support social and mental health needs and assist in community activities.

  • Kind, compassionate and have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life.
  • Patient, resilient and able to bring calm and consistency to people who may be living independently for the first time.
  • Adaptable, flexible, mature and able to support our people to regain independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking.
  • Close to public transport; drivers are welcome and there is free onsite parking.
  • No prior experience required; full training is provided.
