Qualifications

Support Worker – Coalville £12.22ph–£12.72ph

Typical shifts: Monday 4pm–8pm; Tuesday 8am–11am & 4pm–8pm; Wednesday 2pm–8pm; Thursday 8am–11am & 4pm–8pm; Friday 8am–11am & 4pm–8pm; Saturday 8am–11am & 4pm–8pm; Sunday 8am–10am.

About the Role

We’re looking for genuinely caring, hands‑on Support Workers who are passionate about improving the lives of the people we support. In this role you will help people gain independence in their daily lives, providing personal care, teaching life skills, encouraging access to local communities, socialising and organising a variety of activities. Days are varied – you might be out with residents in local bars and pubs, playing video games, watching films, or going to the cinema.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experienced in Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Experience supporting individuals with enhanced needs – including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma histories
  • Resilient, flexible and composed approach to working with a diverse group of people
  • Passion for making a positive difference to people’s lives and a genuine caring attitude
