Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Chobham, Surrey, is hiring a Support Worker to provide tailored support to people with learning disabilities, brain injuries and autism. Some individuals may be non-verbal and there is potential challenging behaviour; flexibility to work days and nights is required.

You will help people engage in everyday activities, support social connections with family and friends, manage finances, keep the home clean, provide personal care and enjoy what you do.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care is not essential; training provided.
• Full-time hours available; flexibility for days and nights.
• Sleep shifts included as part of rota.

Responsibilities

• Support people in day-to-day living activities and engage with the community.
• Support social activities and connections with family and friends.
• Assist with managing the people’s finances.

Support Worker

Chobham, Surrey

£25,845 per annum (pro rata)

Full time hours available (39 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a support worker to join our team in out Chobham service, providing tailored support to people with learning disabilities, brain injuries and autism, some of the people we support are non-verbal and there is also potential challenging behaviours. This role does require flexibility with the ability to work days and nights depending on the needs of the rota.

Typical shift patterns: 7/8am-2pm, 2pm-9pm, 8:45pm-7:15am and Sleep INS 9pm-6:30am
