A leading staffing provider in Belfast is seeking a Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. This role involves working with individuals who have disabilities and requiring assistance in daily living. Candidates must have at least one year's experience in a caring role and possess strong communication skills. The position offers a full-time, permanent contract with various employee benefits, including enhanced pay for bank holidays and ongoing training opportunities.
Support Worke
Location : Belfast
Care Setting : Supporting individuals with Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Complex Needs
Salary : £ - £ per hour
(Enhanced rates available for additional hours worked)
Hours : Full-time, Permanent
Typical shifts are 8:00am - 8:00pm, three days per week, with one full weekend off every three weeks (rotational schedule).
Annual Leave : weeks per year (inclusive of public and bank holidays), increasing with service up to 33 days annually.

Support service users in day-to-day living and integration into the community
Assist with personal care, daily routines, social activities, and life skills development
Support service users in setting and achieving individual goals
Observe and report changes in service users' needs to senior staff
Participate in regular reviews and assessments of service users' progress
Administer or support with medication in line with the organisation's Medication Policy
Promote service user engagement and respond to concerns or suggestions in a sensitive, professional manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including numeracy
Minimum of 1 year's experience in a caring role
Working knowledge of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities
Understanding of behaviours that challenge and how to support individuals effectively
