Overview

We are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to join us on exciting and important work that is underway.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming tickets and provide ongoing feedback on progress.
  • Provide basic 1st/2nd line support for our environments, services and infrastructure.
  • Escalate to 3rd line for complex issues.
  • End user support (desk-side and remote).
  • Issue communications to the user community for incidents and maintenance events.
  • Respond to monitoring alerts, triage and escalate where necessary.
  • Ensure incident tickets are appropriately updated and maintained, and fed into the major incident process where necessary.
  • Ensure incident resolutions are appropriately documented in the ticketing system and wider knowledge base.
  • Occasional travel to remote sites may be required.
