Overview

Are you looking to register with a reputable agency for primary supply teaching work from September 2025? I am currently seeking primary school teachers who are looking for flexible day-to-day supply work in the Earl Shilton and Hinckley area.

ABC Teachers have a huge client base in this area and work with many primary schools that have a constant need for cover. Supply teaching in the Hinckley area allows you to work locally on days that suit you, while maintaining other commitments and supporting work‑life balance. It is also an excellent way for Newly Qualified teachers to network in schools and keep your foot in the classroom while pursuing a suitable primary teaching position. ABC Teachers has helped many primary teachers secure placements that have led to long‑term positions or permanent contracts.

I am working with many schools across the area and can offer opportunities to work in a variety of schools in the year groups of your choice from EYFS, KS1 & KS2.

Responsibilities
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Have strong communication skills with both colleagues and children
  • Have a passion for teaching and creating an engaging learning environment for children
  • Have good sound knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Suitable qualifications to teach such as a PGCE, or BEd (with Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Be able to provide relevant suitable references
  • Complete Enhanced DBS Check / Have DBS on update service
