A leading wholesaler in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a Supply Planner for a 6-month secondment. The role involves optimizing service levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring product availability. Candidates should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a customer service focus. A degree or relevant qualification is preferred, alongside experience in supply chain or procurement. This role requires working in the office at least 2 days a week.
Booker – Maxted Rd, Hemel Hempstead. Apply by 09-May-2025. This role is a 6‑month secondment as a Supply Planner in the Grocery Team at the Hemel Hempstead Office. You will join the wider product supply team and be responsible for achieving and maximising company product availability targets through careful planning and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
To apply for this role you should be able to commit to working 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
You will be required to work in the office at least 2 days a week.

To be successful in this role you will have to be an excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will have excellent organisation and time management skills, be able to prioritise and keep to tight deadlines.
You’ll have a strong customer service orientation, good analytical skills, basic / intermediate working knowledge of Excel, and strong attention to detail.
Work on your own initiative with a proactive approach to tasks and be able to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving.
Ideally, you will have had some previous procurement or supply chain/retail experience and some knowledge of supply chain ordering systems, sales forecasting experience, but full training will be given.
Desirable: Suitable supply chain professional qualification or an interest in studying for one, or educated to degree level.
