Job description
Overview

Analytical talent with a passion for energy markets. London | International Collaboration | Full-time. The global energy market never stands still. At Q8, we’re driving smart supply strategies that optimise today’s operations while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities. As our new Supply Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our European supply and trading activities—and connect them seamlessly to our global network. You’ll analyse, optimise and advise. From crude and refined products to renewables, your insights help us make well-informed decisions that shape our supply strategy, investments, and long-term success. Your Biggest Challenge: Turning complex data and market signals into actionable insights. You’ll keep a close eye on forward curves, price spreads and arbitrage opportunities, and translate them into supply solutions that make a difference. That’s why you’ll play a central role at Q8.

  • Shape Supply Plans: Build and refine annual sourcing strategies for our Operating Units—balancing term vs. spot, product mix, timing, and compliance.
  • Optimise Spot & Term Deals: Execute monthly spot sales / purchases and support structured term agreements in close cooperation with our traders.
  • Deliver Market Insights: Track market fundamentals, analyse trends, and provide concise forecasts and presentations for Senior Management.
  • Support Strategic Investments: Contribute to investment models, M&A evaluations and project economics, ensuring every decision is data-driven.
  • Maintain KPI Models: Run and improve our Biofuels KPI models, gathering input from traders, consultants and local teams to guide supply decisions and compliance planning.
  • Champion Excellence: Improve access to market data and bring clarity to complex supply questions.
This Is You

You hold a degree (BA or equivalent) and bring at least 3 years’ experience in a blue-chip company, ideally in supply, trading, logistics, refining or risk management. You’re commercially aware with strong analytical and numerical skills. You know your way around Excel, PowerPoint and market data tools. You thrive in international environments and build strong relationships across cultures. You’re detail-oriented, but also pragmatic: you know when “good enough” means it’s time to move forward. Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong plus.

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • An international role at the heart of our European Supply & Trading operations.
  • Opportunities to grow—through coaching, training and exposure to high-level projects like M&A and investment analysis.
  • A collaborative culture where initiative is valued, and your insights make a real impact.
