Job summary

SSP at Manchester Airport is seeking a Supervisor to take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations, ensuring smooth service and a positive atmosphere across busy shifts.

You will lead a team with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, managing energy, and solving issues on the fly. Prior hospitality leadership and flexibility for night shifts are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in fast-paced environments (hospitality/bar/restaurant).
• Ability to deliver great service and manage guest expectations.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights.

Job description

• MANCHESTER AIRPORT Rate of pay is £13.75 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6am, bringing your rate of pay to £15.25 per hour.

Hours of operation are 3 am to 11pm .Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

Experience working in busy bar/restaurant is desired. 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.

Due to some responsibilities within theSupervisor role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

ABOUT THE SUPERVISOR ROLE: Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.

Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.

Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.

Results-focused, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.

Previous experience leading a team in busy Hospitality/restaurant is ideal and/or and if you’ve tackled night shifts before, even better!
