Job summary

Luxury Leisure is seeking a shift supervisor for our Reading venue. You will supervise the venue floor and staff on shift, and act as manager in their absence. The role requires flexibility across Monday to Sunday, with mornings, evenings and weekends, plus potential night shifts.

You will manage cash duties, collections and banking, handle change for customers, and ensure excellent customer service. You will promote offers and events, and comply with Challenge 25 gambling rules and related

Responsibilities

• Supervise the venue floor and staff during shifts, and act as manager in the absence of the designated supervisor.
• Carry a master cash float and support in collections and banking activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service and help with day-to-day running of the venue.
• Promote offers, promotions and events to customers.
• Provide refreshments and snacks to customers as needed.
• Handle cash transactions, giving customers change as required.
• Adhere to ID checks and gambling legislation, including Challenge 25 policy.

Job description

Shift pattern: Monday-Sunday, Mornings, Evenings and Weekends primarily. Night shift cover may be asked due to absences or holiday cover. Full flexibility across the week required, working 5 out of 7 days per week

If working between the hours of 11pm and 6am, you will receive an additional £1.50 per hour between those times.

As a supervisor you will be supervising the venue floor and staff on shift, as well as acting as manager in their absence. Further duties may also include:

• Carrying a master cash float
• Supporting in collections and banking

Alongside the above duties you will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and will play an integral role in day to day running of our venue. You could be:

• Promoting our excellent offers, promotions and events.
• Providing refreshments and snacks to our customers.
• As a coin based business, handling cash is a big part of our teams daily duties, therefore you will be expected to provide customers with change.

With us operating within the gambling industry, there is an element of ID checking, as we operate a challenge 25 policy across all of our venues, as well as complying with and following strict gambling legislation.
