Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber within StaRs Team in Staffordshire earning £32 per hour. Ongoing contract, full-time role from 09:00 to 17:00. What you will do

• Deliver clinical interventions for service users accessing substance misuse services
• Prescribe for both alcohol and opiate substitution treatment, ensuring tailored care plans
• Conduct clinical reviews of prescribed service users to monitor progress and effectiveness
• Maintain awareness of blood-borne viruses and treatment pathways
• Stay informed on needle exchange programmes and detox/rehab interventions
• Effectively run your own clinic post-induction, ensuring high standards of service
• Utilise the Illy data system for accurate record-keeping with training provided if needed

Requirements

• Recent experience working as a Non-Medical Prescriber or in fields such as Substance Misuse, Substance Abuse, Addiction, Drug and Alcohol Recovery
• NMC registration
• A degree or equivalent in nursing
• Valid driving licence to reach various locations as required
