Babcock International in Bristol is offering a 4-year Submarine Support Engineering apprenticeship that combines hands-on placements with a fully funded degree in Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing at UWE. You’ll rotate across mechanical, structural and electrical teams, performing structural assessments and analyses while developing professional judgement under expert mentors.

During the programme you’ll study for a BEng (Hons) with UWE, attend two days a week at Weston and then one day

Formación

• GCSE English and Mathematics at level 4/C or above or equivalent
• Minimum two A-levels including Mathematics and a second science/engineering subject
• BTEC/IB/T Levels or equivalent considered for entry; all listed entry requirements must be met

Responsabilidades

• Assist structural assessments and analytical calculations.
• Support design and assessment of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Rotate across different engineering teams to gain broad experience.
• Engage with safety, certification, and lifecycle support activities.
