Babcock International in Bristol offers a Mechanical Engineer Degree Apprenticeship combining on-the-job engineering work with a fully funded BEng (Hons) degree. Qualifications

GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
Two or more A-levels including Mathematics and a second science/engineering subject.
BTEC or other recognised engineering qualification with relevant merits.
Security clearance requirements as part of UK defence sector.

Responsibilities

Support structural assessments and analytical calculations for submarine projects.
Assist in the design and assessment of mechanical systems and components.
Use engineering analysis tools to support project work and evaluations.
Engage in placement rotations across mechanical, structural and electrical disciplines.
