Sub-Agent - Havant Thicket Reservoir

If you're looking for long-term, interesting work close to home, Havant Thicket Reservoir could be the place for you. This landmark scheme is the first large-scale reservoir built in the UK since the 1980s and will protect some of the country's rarest chalk streams while providing a future-proof water supply to the region. The project is scheduled for completion in 2029.

The Sub-Agent will join the main construction team, supporting delivery across a range of work packages including the construction of a new control room, outlets and control systems, basins and wetland zones, and supporting infrastructure such as the visitor centre and public ecological enhancements.

The project is being delivered through a collaborative Joint Venture, with a culture that promotes progression, ownership and a clear sense of purpose.

Sub-Agent responsibilities:
  • Assisting with the preparation of risk assessments and method statements
  • Supporting the engineering team with short- and long-term programmes
  • Working alongside the commercial team to manage change and Early Warning Notices under NEC contracts
  • Supporting the Site Agent in maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Assisting with design coordination and quality management
  • Supporting programme delivery to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved
