Job summary

Homes for Students is seeking a Residence Services Assistant at Straits Meadow in Edinburgh to deliver cheerful reception, assist students and visitors, and provide help desk support.

You will handle inquiries via email, phone and in person, support operations and open days, and bring strong IT and MS Office skills. The role is 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 9:00–17:30, with opportunities for progression and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm reception, meet and greet for students and visitors.
• Operate a professional helpdesk and respond to queries via email, phone, and in person.
• Provide admin support to operations team and General Manager.
• Assist with open days, intake days, departures, and day-to-day visitor support.
