Job summary

Homes for Students is seeking a Residence Services Assistant to join our Dundee team. The role offers a warm, front-facing customer service environment with reception duties, helpdesk support and administrative tasks to assist the operations team and General Manager.

You will engage with students, visitors and external contacts, manage inquiries across channels, and help ensure a seamless experience on a busy campus.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software.
• Quick and efficient learning ability.
• Proficient in presenting information accurately, professionally.
• Experience prioritising workload to meet competing deadlines without close supervision.
• Team player with a flexible approach.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, friendly meet and greet service and reception support.
• Operate a professional helpdesk and handle enquiries via email, website, telephone, and in person.
• Provide administrative support to operations team and General Manager.
• Assist with open days, intake days and departures; support students, visitors and external contacts.
• Respond to student queries promptly and helpfully with accurate information.
• Address and resolve complaints as a skilled problem solver.
