Job summary

Unite Group is recruiting for a Student Experience Team Member to welcome residents and visitors and help deliver a safe, engaging live-in environment at Unite Students properties.

You’ll work with the property team to conduct check-ins, respond to enquiries, run viewings and support events, creating a vibrant, supportive student community.

With a focus on customer service, communication and teamwork, you’ll help maintain high standards and a welcoming atmosphere across the daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, hospitality, retail or residential environment.
• Enjoy working with people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable in a busy, varied environment.
• Confident handling enquiries, complaints and resident requests.
• Team-oriented and supportive of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, face-to-face customer service to residents and visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues
• Support the full resident journey, including check-ins, check-outs and day-to-day resident support
• Deliver property viewings and support bookings, helping drive occupancy and retention
• Support resident engagement activities, helping create a welcoming and vibrant community
• Respond to maintenance issues, making safe where required and raising requests for resolution
• Carry out building checks and support safety procedures, ensuring the property remains safe and compliant
• Support emergency response procedures when required
• Maintain high property standards, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and well presented
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Record enquiries, cases and operational issues accurately within internal systems
