Job description

A long-standing construction company is seeking a Structural Engineer to support their diverse range of structural projects. The Structural Engineer will have completed a civil or structural engineering degree, have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience, and have actively worked towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineering. In addition, you will have a UK driving licence, have working knowledge of Tekla, and have good teamwork and communication skills.

Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design work on timber frame housing, steel frame structures, building alterations and conversions
  • Structural reporting and site visits
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
  • Have completed an accredited degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience working in a similar role
  • Actively working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineering (ICE)
  • Valid UK driving licenceHave working knowledge of Tekla products such as TEDDs, Tekla Structural Designer
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
Desirable:
  • CSCS card
