Job summary

Forkway, a leading UK material handling solutions provider, is hiring a Hire Controller in Dewsbury. You will coordinate delivery and collection of equipment for Short-Term Hire, manage contracts in the Protean system, and support Sales and Operational teams while delivering excellent customer service.

Key duties include arranging pre-hire inspections, scheduling nationwide deliveries, ensuring GA1 compliance, generating hire quotes, and producing daily KPI reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating hire services or logistics is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up hire agreements and allocate equipment.
• Plan and coordinate delivery and collection of equipment.
• Liaise with service technicians and yard operatives for inspections.
• Ensure GA1 certification status and compliance before hire.
• Raise hire contracts and enter dates accurately in the Protean system.
• Produce daily and weekly KPI reports.
