UK Forks, a division of Vp plc, is seeking a Hire Controller in Harrogate to quote, take and process orders, and drive growth by converting enquiries into hire business. You will support the depot network, hire desk team, and transport operations while building strong customer relationships.

Excellent customer service, IT literacy, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities are essential for success in this role within the construction sector.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail and understanding of its importance.
• Excellent customer service skills and confident telephone manner.
• Ability to communicate via email with good language use.
• Understand customer requirements and convert conversations into opportunities.
• Experience with various IT systems; knowledge of equipment desirable.
• Logistics/planning experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Quote prices, take orders and process to completion.
• Develop business by converting enquiries into hire opportunities.
• Liaise with hire desk team and support depot network and transport team.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
